David Marshall is Managing Partner and Founder of Emerson Partners. Mr. Marshall has more than 40 years of investment experience across multiple asset classes. As Managing Partner of Emerson, he is responsible for asset allocation, investment strategy, and risk management.  

His experience spans over four decades managing global bond and equity portfolios at US Bancorp, UBS / Paine Webber, Caywood-Scholl Capital Management, and most recently as portfolio manager at a wealth management firm. He started his financial career on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange “The Merc” in 1981.

David graduated from the University of California at San Diego where he majored in Literature, and is fluent in Spanish.
